Cultural exchange day at the Faculty of Economics

A group of sixteen students from the University of Northern Iowa is now travelling around Rennes as part of a cultural discovery course about France. We welcomed them for one day at the Faculty of Economics, with the participation of some Bachelor’ degree students. Students from France and US were able to meet and get to know each other thanks to a game to discover the Faculty campus.

Then Chris Snipes, the Director of Africa Regional Services of the US Embassy, did us the honor of his presence. He discussed the cultural differences and similarities between France and US with the students. These were really pleased by his presentation and asked a lot of questions.

Chris Snipes was accompanied by Eva Prevost, Cultural and consular specialist of the US Embassy, and Eric Beaty, Economic and cultural attaché of the US Consulate.

The day continued with a lunch at the university restaurant, a city tour, and an evening of exchange at the pub.
At the end of the day, both students from France and US had a great time meeting each other!
