Start of the Bachelor in Business and Applied Economics

The Faculty of Economics opens a new diploma in September 2018: the Bachelor in Business and Applied Economics (BBAE). This one year degree will be entirely taught in English, in small group classes.

The Bachelor Program in Business and Applied Economics is a two-semester program. Thanks to this program, students can receive a Bachelor degree in one academic year starting in early September.
 

Duration: 1 year
Credits: 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System)
Degree obtained: Bachelor’s degree / Undergraduate program
All courses are taught in English.

Program presentation

The lectures cover a broad range of topics in Economics: microeconomics, macroeconomics, applied, public, international and business economics... Students will also get the opportunity to learn and use the Bloomberg database and take the Bloomberg certificate (BMC).

Students may also complete an internship (up to 3 months) after the two academic semesters.

Student assistance

Before arrival and during their stay, students will benefit from the assistance of the program coordinator, the International Office and the International Mobility Center. They will also receive courses support by Professors and Head of program.
 

We rely on a strong international experience: more than 70 partner universities for student mobility, and 25 to 30 visiting professors each year.

Admission

Students are selected according to their Proficiency in English (minimum B2 proficiency level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference), and according to their proficiency in Economics, General Management and Quantitative skills. Indeed, students should have successfully passed at least 80 ECTS credits (or equivalents) in those fields. The grades from the last three years as well as the grades of specific courses will be considered.
